TRACK INFORMATION

             Great care has been taken to provide almost every corner combination you would expect to find at any other track, including the much fabled and treacherous 5A-5B combination from Mosport. The new extension is more of the same, with some high-speed straights and even more challenging corner combinations.

 

             In addition to the full loop, SMMP can be broken up into three smaller circuits for focused break-out sessions. These are great ways to break up the day for concentrated drills and intensified instruction on difficult portions of the track.

 

             RacersWanted typically uses the entire track and runs in a clockwise direction, but configuration usage can change from one event to the next and even from day to day during one weekend. Expect great driving!

 

Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch is located in Pahrump, Nevada.

The best directions can be found at Google Maps.

             It is roughly a 5-6 hour drive from Orange County or the metro LA area (approx 260-275 miles), depending on your start point. From Las Vegas, it is 1 hour due West.

             Since the track is actually south of Pahrump a bit, more specific directions are often helpful.

From Las Vegas: Coming up from Vegas on Hwy 160 (north), you will want to watch for the two white Quonset huts on the right hand side as you get within a few miles of Pahrump. The exact distance from I-15 to the track is 48.6 miles.

From Orange County/Los Angeles: Coming out the 15 from LA, turn north onto Hwy 127 in Baker and proceed to the Hwy 178 junction in Shoshone. The 178 becomes the 372 as you cross into Nevada and runs into the north end of Pahrump.
